The JEE Advanced is the second phase of the JEE examination conducted by one of the seven IITs for admission to undergraduate programmes offered at 23 IITs. Due to the ongoing pandemic, IIT Bombay has announced a few relaxations in the JEE Advanced this year. Candidates who enrolled for JEE Advanced 2021 but did not appear in both papers, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2021, are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022. Candidates who took the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2020 are also qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam in 2022 if they simultaneously meet the following two requirements: the candidate must have taken the JEE Advanced exam just once, either in 2020 or 2021 (OR), they must not have taken any of the papers in either JEE Advanced 2020 or JEE Advanced 2021. To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 in their relevant category, a candidate must have previously appeared in JEE Main 2022 and should obtain the cut-off score of the top 2,50,000 successful candidates.

Four steps are necessary to complete the online JEE Advanced application (Exam registration, filling in personal and academic details, uploading the required documents and payment of the application fee). The JEE Advanced form must be filled out completely and carefully before submission because it cannot be edited after submission, and any errors could result in the rejection of the application form.
